SAVE THE SECOND TUESDAY IN SEPTEMBER FOR DAN!
SECOND TUESDAY - SECOND TUESDAY - SECOND TUESDAY

The next DAN meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday, September 14th, at the Spring Creek BBQ in Richardson, 270 N. Central Expressway. Eight members of our group will be attending the ACA Annual conference in California August 26-28, and they will be at the meeting to tell us what they experienced at this annual event.

REACH of Dallas has just opened an office in Plano and offers many programs for the community. Harvey Spears who is the veterans' advocate at the REACH office in Denton is coming to explain the various ways that REACH helps people with disabilities and how we can be involved.

We also have members who would like to share information about products that have made their lives easier as amputees. If you have something you want to bring and demonstrate to the group, please feel free to do so. New amputees can always benefit from the experience gained through years of adapting to amputee life. Please come and share your tips!
